Keep the business running.
Move forward carefully.
Established operators have real reservations and revenue in existing systems. The transition deserves as much care as the destination.
One core, different channels
The distribution direction connects supported transactional channels through adapters to one booking and inventory foundation. Referral attribution can remain distinct from the commercial source where a guest ultimately purchases.
Preserve where the booking came from
Legacy and third-party imports are intended to retain external identifiers, original channel and payment history. A guest entering TourFoundry operations should not become a fabricated direct purchase or payment transaction.
Validate before changing the picture
The migration design anticipates dry-run validation, stable identifiers, repeatable imports, duplicate prevention, per-record issues and reconciliation. Existing and future reservations need a controlled path into operations.
Coexistence before cutover
The aim is gradual transition alongside incumbent systems. Inventory allocation in the old system must be reduced and verified before the same inventory is added to the replacement. Channels can transition as their paths are proven.
One manifest throughout the transition
TourFoundry should be able to become the operating picture while keeping the original commercial authority represented correctly. Supported integrations and migration readiness remain subject to development and validation.
